Two years ago, we launched our first crowdfunding campaign, and our teams from Peru and Paris were filled with excitement. Thanks to our early supporters, we witnessed the birth of a new model in the fashion industry. But why was this first launch so innovative? While we didn't reinvent the wheel, implementing the pre-order system in an artisanal production system rather than an industrial one was truly groundbreaking.
Casa Poma was born with the aim of highlighting the excellence of Aymara women and proposing a win-win production model
We have created a short and direct supply chain from the very beginning, producing limited and reasonable quantities through pre-orders and summer pop-ups in Paris.
We create timeless urban clothing with an authentic and high-quality style, establishing an intellectual and sensory connection between Aymara women and our customers.
Casa Poma pieces are designed to last, they are timeless and urban, creating an authentic and sustainable wardrobe.
We are a brand specialized in the artisanal knitting of baby alpaca fiber directly sourced from Peru, the country where alpaca is the iconic animal. We use this superior quality alpaca wool to create handmade knitted garments that enhance all body types. Our priority is to provide a pleasant wearing experience with a non-itchy wool, even for sensitive skin.
Alpaca wool is known for its unique softness and durable quality. Unlike other types of wool, baby alpaca wool does not contain lanolin, a protein present in wool that can cause allergies for sensitive skin. Therefore, our baby alpaca wool garments offer exceptional comfort without compromising your well-being. This natural material is as soft as cashmere, has a silk-like touch, and is over 40% more efficient than merino wool and other types of wool. It is a natural material that provides protection throughout autumn, winter, and even until the end of spring.
In Peru, we collaborate with talented Aymara women who are part of communities that speak the Aymara language. At Casa Poma, we value their culture and craftsmanship, contributing to the creation of our beautiful handmade knitted pieces.

We are committed to minimizing our environmental impact right from the design phase. That's why our in-house teams, based in the Paris region, take care of creating the initial samples and conducting tests in our workshop. By doing so, we avoid excessive prototyping, unnecessary shipments, and optimize the work efficiency of our teams in Peru.
The women artisans have been mentored and trained for several years by our partner, Innovar y Compartir, under the Heifer International Peru project.
Our commitment to sustainability begins with the design of each piece, supported by our internal research and development department.
